I absolutely love writing! I live for poetry, and I just wrote my first screenplay. It won a contest and is being filmed this summer.

Wow, you are coming all the way from India? I live only two hours away from Drexel. I am hoping to study business administration with a minor in elementary ed. What about you?

Yes, I will be staying in a dorm at Drexel (honors, hopefully). I have always lived in relatively small towns, so I’m very excited to be living in Philadelphia next year!

My email is jessicarachael@gmail.com If I can have your email address, I can email you at least part of the screenplay. It’s a bit rough because I wrote it in three or four days, but there are some good parts that will probably survive the editing process. I’m very excited about the contest –filming is in June and July, and the videos go up on the internet in August. Then everyone can vote for their favorite – I’ll be sure to email you!

Um, what else about me? As I said, I live for poetry. I read and write constantly! I want to be a teacher and start my own schools, so I have several hundred friends under the age of ten. What about you? What are your screenplays about?

For those of you who love writing, it might interest you to know that Drexel has a writing tutor conter, where students go to get help on their papers.

Now you may be saying, "But Pete, I'm good at writing, why would I need a tutor?"...but therein lies the rub! The WC is always looking to hire new WITs (Writing Intensive Tutor).

I am currently a WIT myself, working with the CoE....they are decent hours, and they pay $750 a term. Be sure to check it out when you get here!

sidenote: you can't be employed there as a freshman....this is just something to look forward to!
