Any one here interested in Martial Arts of any kind?

I am a Hapkido student and we also assimilate Brazilian jui-jitsu into our training.

During my Junior Year in HS, I took TAe Kwon Do for about 1 year. I had alot of fun. However, our class sunddenly started filling up with younger students so it became too easy so i left. I was wondering if Drexel offers any type of martial arts. I'd be interested in starting again. I could use the exercise *pokes belly*

Haha, yea i think everyone could do with more exercise, and martial arts is a great way for that. It also disciplines you and maybe just maybe you might need it in the future some time.

As it is drexel offers Shotokan as its free martial arts. They meet a couple times a week, and the class is free for anyone. (Of course if you do not already own one, you will have to purchase your own Gi).

I do not however see much sparring practice in their sessions, so if you are into MMA I would suggest local Gyms (Such as Fight Factory). These can be expensive though, so hope you have some cash!

Other than that, if anyone is interested in a more intense training I will gladly include anyone in my workout schedule. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
