Yeah, sure, drexel may not be "ivy league" but many people sometimes view it as one. For instance, Drexel actually runs the govenor school website, not Carnagie Melon as you would think would be more likely to since it's Ivy League. Also, the Co-op and such is sometimes better then an ivy league because it gets you on the job experience and gets you references. Also, Drexel's facilities and faculty are quite nice and they definately treat their kids nice. It might have been voted one of the ugliest college campuses but its definately one amazing college.

Also Ivy league colleges don't ever give much if any financial aid and scholarships are hard to come by....Drexel offers a lot of different grants and scholarships for students with decent SAT scores. My SAT scores weren't terrific, however, I did get a good bit of scholarship that helps a lot with the overall cost and what not

it also kind of pays for itself with the co-op, first year of co-op you make like 15 grand.

well, co-op usually are 6 months long and then you go back to class for 3 terms and then back again starting usually ur sophmore year (it varies with major and such)

so basically with co-op you make more then most people with a high school diploma.

The co-op is also why drexel is a trimester and has a lot different scheduling then other schools

My brother actually went here, he's a genius but he lacks common sense and motavation, ill let you figure out the rest. It's kind of funny cause at first I didn't think drexel was that good actually, but the more i visted and such the more i fell in love with the college. this was my number one choice and i plan on having a good time here.

Hi everyone,

Just to clarify... Drexel is actually on a quarter system which means we have 4 10-week terms each academic year. You can get a better idea of our academic calendar here: http://www.drexel.edu/provost/calendars/quarter/

Have a great day!
