Federal Work Study

Postby Baka on Fri Jun 27, 2008 9:17 pm

Exactly how does this work?
Is there anyone to help you find a job on campus or do you go looking for one yourself?
And what happens if you fail to find a job on campus? Does this financial aid get removed from your package, causing you to have to pay for that awarded amount?

Once you come to campus, they will have something like a job fair for work study students. If you can find a job that you would like, you can apply for it by yourself, but if you would like help finding one, you can just go to that job fair and apply for a few.

Are any jobs on campus available to people who were not awarded a federal work study?

Jobs on Campus

Postby Drxldragon20 on Wed Jul 02, 2008 11:36 am

There are plenty of jobs on campus that are not Federal Work Study positions. Many of the jobs available will give first preference to work study students, but after that there are still plenty of available jobs. You just have to look around and get involved.

When will this job fair be held? And also, will Drexel contact the students who were awarded workstudy about the process of workstudy?

Thanks again...
