Just curious...can we change the furniture in the dorms like most colleges?

Hi kiaraco08,

Students are allowed to rearrange the furniture in their rooms. They can also bring in furniture such a couch or armchair if there is a space. Students are not, however, allowed to remove any of the existing dorm furniture.

I hope that answers your question!

Have a great day,
Stephanie

Will we get a list of what we are allowed/supposed to bring for the dorm rooms when we get our confirmation packet?
Also, I was wondering if the dorm buildings were co-ed, or if they are separated by gender; and, what kind of set up are the bathrooms (ex., shared, in the dorm rooms, etc.)?

Hello V.Burg,

Yes, you will receive a booklet titled, "On-Campus Living" which will give you the features of each residence hall. It will be on the left pocket of your Confirmation Packet. To answer a few of your questions, all of the residence halls are coed. Most of the bathrooms for the freshman residence halls are shared. Also, here is a link to Drexel's Residential Living website. You can click on the name of each residence hall and you will see the different features for each dorm. http://www.drexel.edu/housing/Halls/

I hope this helps!

Hello Chelsea,

More information regarding early move-in will be sent to students in August.

Hello riddhiman,

Early Arrivals arriving the night before their scheduled check-in are to report to the Caneris Residence Hall front desk for families, and Towers Residence Hall for students. There, you will receive instructions about where to park for the evening and suggested places to eat. On Day One of your orientation, registration and check-in will occur in the Caneris Residence Hall.

You can also visit this link to find more details: http://www.drexel.edu/studentlife/NSO/fees.htm

Good luck!
