Is anyone else commuting instead of getting a dorm or am I the only one that live within a resonable drive to the campus?

I could commute, but with traffic I dont want to take the risk.

My cousin Paul lives down the street from a septa station so Im parking at his place for free.

heyy I'm Rachel I'm going to major in bio/pre med..I actually applied to the BS/MD program but I dont find out about that for a while. I got accpeted into the honors college so far, but I'm really ougoing and I love to have fun. I'm not sure if Im definitely going to Drexel yet but I probably will

tikitay5 wrote:no sorry, you dont get to choose to whether or not you are in a suite or not. basically, if you are in the honors college, and are living on campus, you will get a suite in the new race dorm. it's a big black building that looks like the deathstar, and it's definitely the best building structure wise, since it's so new. the other suite style dorms are in Canares, which used to be freshman honors housing. if you aren't in the honors college, you probably want to try to get into towers, because that one isn't SO bad, and is also in a really great spot on campus.
im really hoping to get honors housing, but AH! i havent applied to pennoni yet! i need to get on that.....

how exactly do you apply to pennoni? because i need to get on that as well, but I keep forgetting or attempting to look for it! haha. okay. thanks. :]

Well, you can't apply to pennoni yet, i think its in March you can start applying...

IT also proceeds to say

Incoming freshman with superior academic records, standardized test scores, and other evidence of accomplishment will automatically be invited to join the Pennoni Honors College at the time they are accepted to the University or soon thereafter. Incoming Freshman offered admission in their acceptance letter to the university do not need to apply.

If, by March 1st, you have not been invited to join and would like to be considered, your application must be received by June 1st; please follow these procedures:

Prospective students must complete a Pennoni Honors College application available online or in the Honors College office located at 5016 MacAlister Hall.
Provide a copy of your unofficial high school transcripts with your application.
You may apply ONLY after March 1 of your senior year
Applications must be received by June 1 of your senior year
You will be notified of a decision regarding your candidacy via email 4 to 5 weeks after your completed application has been received.
